Peter founded the Bat-Caddy organization in 2004 and has grown the business exponentially since then to become the leading provider of electric golf caddies in North America. With 5 fully stocked logistics centres in North America including Canada Bat-Caddy can react quickly to warranty and service issues anywhere in the US and Canada.

His passion for the game of golf, his entrepreneurial spirit and his strong dedication to and experience in excellence in business management, innovation, engineering, quality, and customer satisfaction has led him to realize his vision for Bat-Caddy ("Battery-Caddy").

Bat-Caddy Limited Warranty

What is covered?
Any defect in material and workmanship resulting from personal, normal use in accordance with the owner’s manual.

For how long?
One (1) year from the day of purchase for caddy, caddy parts, battery and electronics. Caddy accessories are covered under this warranty for 90 days.

Who gets the warranty?
The warranty is nontransferable and limited to the person who originally purchased the product.

Geographic scope:
This warranty applies only to original Bat-Caddy products purchased in Canada from Bat-Caddy Canada, a local fully authorized Bat-Caddy dealer or distributor. International shipping cost for product/parts or repair services for caddies exported from the country of original purchase are not covered by warranty.This warranty applies only to original Bat-Caddy products purchased in Canada from Bat-Caddy Canada, a local fully authorized Bat-Caddy dealer or distributor. Warranty shipping cost is included to the original shipping location, additional shipping cost will be assessed for locations more remote or at an increased shipping cost than the original location. International shipping cost for product/parts or repair services for caddies exported from the Canada are not covered by warranty.

LIMITATIONS & LIABILITY: IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY ARE LIMITED TO ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF PURCHASE. WE WILL NOT PAY FOR: LOSS OF USE OF YOUR PRODUCT OR PROPERTY DAMAGE CAUSED BY YOUR GOLF TROLLEY PRODUCT OR BATTERY OR ITS FAILURE TO WORK; ANY SPECIAL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM PERFORMANCE OR FAILURE TO PERFORM UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, OR FROM THE FURNISHING, PERFORMANCE OR USE OF ANY GOODS OR SERVICE SOLD PURSUANT HERETO, WHETHER DUE TO A BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, MISUSE OR MODIFICATION OF THE PRODUCT OR OTHERWISE NEITHER YOU NOR SPACOM SHALL HAVE ANY LIABILITY TO THE OTHER FOR INDIRECT OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN.

What we will do:
If your caddy or any parts thereof are defective under the terms and definitions of this warranty, we will send you replacement parts, repair it or, at our discretion, replace it at no charge to you. Refunds may be issued only according to the Company's current return policy in the Terms & Conditions.

How to get warranty service?
To get warranty service for your trolley you must contact one of Bat-Caddy's Service & Support Centers and provide proof of date and place of purchase of the product. At our discretion we will provide one of the following Warranty services:

  • Do-It-Yourself Service: Call a Bat-Caddy Service Center to diagnose the problem and make arrangements to get appropriate replacement parts.
  • Bat-Caddy Shop Service: If repair cannot be reasonably easy performed by customer, we will return your caddy or the defective parts in question to one of our Service Centers and repair or replace them at our expense.
  • 3rd Party Shop Service: In certain cases repairs might be performed faster and more cost effective by a local 3rd party mechanic or repair shop, and Bat-Caddy might choose such services at our discretion. In such cases Bat-Caddy will reimburse reasonable repair cost.

For warranty services you must retain the original packing material in the event you need to ship your product back to one of our Service Centers. Charges for replacement packaging and shipping of such will apply.

Upon contacting a Bat-Caddy Service Center or authorized dealer we will determine the appropriate service option under this warranty. The contact numbers, e-mails and addresses of our Service Centers can be found on our website.

What this warranty does not cover:
This warranty does not cover wear parts, such as rubber tire treads or remote control batteries or scratches/dents on frame or components caused by normal use. The warranty does not cover damage to the caddy caused by batteries or chargers other than those supplied by Bat-Caddy or third party damage caused by batteries and chargers in general. The warranty does not cover any defects resulting from accidents, damage while in transit to our service locations, or damage resulting from alterations, misuse or abuse or ignoring of operating instructions, lack of proper maintenance, water damage due to hosing down or power washing product or submerged contact with water hazards, lakes or other water bodies, any loss of control of the unit resulting in equipment or consequential damage, unauthorized repair or modifications of the product, affixing any attachment not provided with the product, overloading of the product, fire, flood, or acts of God, or failure to follow the instructions in the Owner’s manual. This warranty also does not cover any international shipping cost or foreign repair services due to exportation of the cart from the country of original purchase.

This warranty is the only one we will give on your product, and it sets forth all our responsibilities regarding your product. There are no other express warranties! Please read our legal notice and terms and conditions at www.bat-caddy.ca as they may contain additional regulations and legal obligations or restrictions between the parties.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary under local and Provincial law.

Returns

Refund & Return Policy and Shipping
On the Go Leisure Ltd. products that are purchased directly from On the Go Leisure Ltd./Bat-Caddy by a Customer may be returned by Customer in accordance with On the Go Leisure Ltd. "Return Policy" in effect on the date of the invoice. Unused items in new condition and in original packaging only may be returned for full credit within 30 days of receipt of product, excluding shipping and handling charges. Customer is fully responsible for shipping cost of returned items. Please contact us at 1-800-469-0061 or info@onthegoleisure.com with an order number and reason for the return before shipping the item back. All returns must have assigned a Return Authorization number (usually the original order number) clearly written on the outside label to be accepted. NOTE: products that have been purchased through one of our authorized independent dealers must be returned according to that dealer's respective return policy. Refunds can only be issued by that dealer, On the Go Leisure Ltd./Bat-Caddy has no original financial transaction for such purchases with the customer. Such returns must have a dealer RA authorization which has been communicated to On the Go Leisure Ltd./Bat-Caddy before a return shipping is being initiated and accepted by On the Go Leisure Ltd.. It is recommended that you purchase shipping insurance before returning the item. For returns after the initial return period and used caddies for up to 30 days after the original purchase date a restocking charge of 20% of the original purchase price (depending on condition), excl. shipping & handling charges applies. Customer is fully responsible to cover original and return shipping and insurance charges. Product must be returned in its original packaging, including Styrofoam cushioning to protect from transportation damage. Shipping charges for the supply of replacement packaging will apply. Return acceptance after 30 days after the original purchase date are at On the Go Leisure Ltd. sole discretion and subject to depreciation fees assessed by On the Go Leisure Ltd. technical staff.

On The Go Leisure Ltd./Bat-Caddy will only cover shipping costs for warranty and other items that are sent to the original shipping address. We will charge the difference in shipping cost if the cost is higher.

Exchanges
From time to time, On the Go Leisure Ltd. may, in its sole discretion, exchange products or portions of a product. Any exchanges will be made in accordance with On the Go Leisure Ltd. exchange policies in effect on the date of the exchange.

Terms & Conditions

PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY! IT CONTAINS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT MAY APPLY TO YOU.

This Agreement contains the terms and conditions that apply to your purchase from On the Go Leisure Ltd. (Bat-Caddy) named on the invoice ("Bat-Caddy") that will be provided to you ("Customer") on orders for Bat-Caddy products (“Products”) sold in Canada. By accepting delivery of the Products described on that invoice, Customer agrees to be bound by and accepts these terms and conditions. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY (i) UNLESS THE CUSTOMER HAS SIGNED A SEPARATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH On the Go Leisure Ltd., IN WHICH CASE THE SEPARATE AGREEMENT SHALL GOVERN; OR (ii) UNLESS OTHER On the Go Leisure Ltd. STANDARD TERMS APPLY TO THE TRANSACTION. These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior written notice at any time, in On the Go Leisure Ltd. sole discretion.

OTHER DOCUMENTS
These terms and conditions may NOT be altered, supplemented, or amended by the use of any other document(s), except as otherwise noted. Any attempt to alter, supplement or amend this document or to enter an order for product(s) that are subject to additional or altered terms and conditions will be null and void, unless otherwise agreed to in a written agreement signed by both Customer and On the Go Leisure Ltd.

GOVERNING LAW
THIS AGREEMENT AND ANY SALES THERE UNDER SHALL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF ONTARIO, WITHOUT REGARD TO CONFLICTS OF LAWS RULES.

Payment Terms; Orders; Quotes; Interest

Terms of payment are within On the Go Leisure Ltd. sole discretion, and unless otherwise agreed to by On the Go Leisure Ltd., payment must be received by On the Go Leisure Ltd. prior to On the Go Leisure Ltd. acceptance and delivery of an order. Payment for the products and services and support will be made by credit card, wire transfer, or some other prearranged payment method unless credit terms have been agreed to by On the Go Leisure Ltd.. Invoices are due and payable at the time of order and the date of the invoice. The On the Go Leisure Ltd./Bat-Caddy online e-Commerce system will charge a credit card immediately upon completion of an order through our certified secured payment processor company and merchant bank. On the Go Leisure Ltd. guarantees a full and immediate refund in case of backorder situations or pre-shipment cancellations upon customer request. On the Go Leisure Ltd. may invoice parts of an order separately. Orders are not binding upon On the Go Leisure Ltd. until accepted by On the Go Leisure Ltd.. Any quotations given by On the Go Leisure Ltd. will be valid for the period stated on the quotation, or if published on the internet prices are guaranteed for one calendar week from the date of publication. Prices are subject to change without notice and might vary outside of Canada. Customer agrees to pay interest on all past-due sums at the current interest rate for credit card debt. Discounts are applied as agreed between the Customer and On the Go Leisure Ltd..

Back-Order Information
When placing an order for an item that is back-ordered, your credit card is charged at the time you place the order. This process guarantees that you receive the item you order as soon as new stock is received. If you would rather not be billed at the time you place your order, please contact us by phone to be placed in the waiting list for when new stock arrives. Please note that being on the waiting list does not guarantee the delivery of the item once stock arrives. All prepaid orders are filled prior to offering remaining stock to customers on the waiting list. Back-order shipping dates are estimates to the best of our knowledge and are contingent upon, but not limited to, ocean liner shipping schedules, Canadian Customs inspections, weather and trucking company schedules. We will keep customers informed about any deviations.

Shipping Policies
Separate charges for shipping and handling will be shown on On the Go Leisure Ltd. invoice(s), if applicable. Standard shipping within Canada will be Ground or similar service with no signature required. If you are not at your designated shipping location when the courier arrives the package will be left at that location. Customer may choose alternate carrier or options at additional charges.

Special delivery instructions may be requested at time of order, however, On the Go Leisure Ltd. is not obligated to honor any instructions related to date, time or location.  On the Go Leisure Ltd. is not liable for any loss, theft or damage that may occur if customer has not requested a signature is required for the product being shipped.

Taxes
Unless Customer provides On the Go Leisure Ltd. with a valid and correct tax exemption certificate applicable to the product ship-to location prior to On the Go Leisure Ltd. acceptance of the order, the Customer is responsible for sales and all other taxes associated with the order, however designated, except for On the Go Leisure Ltd. franchise taxes and taxes on On the Go Leisure Ltd. net income. If applicable, a separate charge for taxes will be shown on On the Go Leisure Ltd. invoice.

Title; Risk of Loss
Title to products passes from On the Go Leisure Ltd. to Customer on shipment from On the Go Leisure Ltd. facility. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping by a carrier selected by On the Go Leisure Ltd. is not an On the Go Leisure Ltd. responsibility.

On the Go Leisure Ltd. reserves the right to modify its warranty at any time, in its sole discretion.

Exchanges
From time to time, On the Go Leisure Ltd. may, in its sole discretion, exchange products or portions of a product. Any exchanges will be made in accordance with On the Go Leisure Ltd. exchange policies in effect on the date of the exchange.

Products and Components
On the Go Leisure Ltd. policy is one of ongoing product update and revision. On the Go Leisure Ltd. may revise and discontinue products at any time. On the Go Leisure Ltd. will ship products that have the same or better functionality and performance of the products ordered, but changes between what is shipped and what is described in a specification sheet, website, manual or catalogue are possible during a model year. On the Go Leisure Ltd. reserves all rights to modify and upgrade components during a model year. All parts are factory new and unused unless otherwise described or ordered by the Customer. All Products are being factory floor tested before final packaging causing slight abrasions on tires or other wear parts. These are merely a sign of quality control testing.

Limitations of Liability
On the Go Leisure Ltd. DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN, INCLUDING ANY LIABILITY FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE, OR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES AND SUPPORT On the Go Leisure Ltd. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY APPLIES BOTH TO PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AND SUPPORT CUSTOMER RECEIVES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. CUSTOMER AGREES THAT FOR ANY LIABILITY RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES BUNDLED WITH THE PRODUCTS, On the Go Leisure Ltd. IS NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF DAMAGES ABOVE THE AGGREGATE DOLLAR AMOUNT PAID BY CUSTOMER FOR THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. CUSTOMER AGREES THAT FOR ANY LIABILITY RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF SERVICES NOT BUNDLED WITH PRODUCTS UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, SPACOM IS NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF DAMAGES ABOVE THE AGGREGATE DOLLAR AMOUNT PAID BY CUSTOMER FOR THE PURCHASE OF SERVICES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.

Service and Support
On the Go Leisure Ltd. will provide general telephone service and support to Customers that purchased their Bat-Caddy in Canada from an authorized dealer. However, On the Go Leisure Ltd. support personnel may not be able to understand or resolve any given problem, and hereby excludes any obligations or liabilities arising from a given problem not solved by On the Go Leisure Ltd.. On the Go Leisure Ltd. has no obligation to provide service or support until On the Go Leisure Ltd. has received full payment for the Product or services and support that Customer purchased.

Dispute Resolution
The parties will attempt to resolve any claim, or dispute or controversy (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) against On the Go Leisure Ltd., its agents, employees, successors, assigns or affiliates (collectively for purposes of this paragraph, "On the Go Leisure Ltd.") arising out of or relating to this Agreement, On the Go Leisure Ltd. advertising, or any related purchase (a "Dispute") through face to face negotiation with persons fully authorized to resolve the Dispute or through mediation utilizing a mutually agreeable mediator, rather than through litigation. If the parties are unable to resolve the Dispute through negotiation or mediation within a reasonable time after written notice from one party to the other that a Dispute exists, the Dispute will be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the then current Rules for Arbitration. The Arbitration will be conducted before three (3) independent and impartial arbitrators. On the Go Leisure Ltd. will appoint one (1) arbitrator and the other party or parties will appoint one (1) arbitrator. The two (2) appointed arbitrators will then select a third arbitrator, who shall be the presiding arbitrator. The arbitration hearing shall take place in Oakville, Ontario and will be governed by the laws of Ontario. The arbitrators shall base their award on the terms of this Agreement, and will follow the law and judicial precedents that an Ontario  Judge sitting in Oakville, Ontario would apply to the Dispute. The arbitrators shall render their award in writing and will include the findings of fact and conclusion of law upon which their award is based. Judgment upon the arbitration award may be entered by any court of competent jurisdiction. The existence or results of any negotiation, mediation or arbitration will be treated as confidential. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party will have the right to obtain from a court of competent jurisdiction a temporary restraining order, preliminary injunction or other equitable relief to preserve the status quo or prevent irreparable harm, although the merits of the underlying Dispute will be resolved in accordance with this paragraph.
